Dennis L. Wamala has extensive experience as an advocate with the Firm spanning over 22 years in litigation, dispute resolution, banking, corporate advisory work, intellectual property, health and life sciences and energy.

Dennis has for a number of years been recognized by Chambers and Partners as a leading lawyer in Uganda and has been described as “a brilliant lawyer and particularly highly respected for his litigation skills.” He has successfully
represented clients in landmark disputes at the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Dennis also acted as Company Secretary of the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company for a period over 17 years and is a board member/company secretary of a number of public and private entities in Uganda.
Dennis holds LLB Hons Degree from Makerere University, Kampala and a Post
Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (DIP.LP) from Law Development Centre, Kampala.
He has is currently pursuing an LLM in International Commercial Law at the University of Salford UK, and has undertaken several professional training courses in Dispute Resolution, IP, Corporate Governance and Public Private Partnerships.
