in enabling and barrier-free environments that respect, appreciate and
recognise individual potentials. We envision communities where the deaf
experience social and economic justice as they endeavour to achieve
self-reliance in the pursuit of leading meaningful, sustainable and
dignified lives

minority with a shared history, culture and language of their own.
Ugandan Sign Language is therefore used as the main medium of
