Repairing a hut
Through our Mobilisation Project, DLU staff and deaf youth were mobilised to respond urgently and assist in repairing a deaf woman's hut which had collapsed due to severe rainfall. It's now been immaculately refurbished!
Jewellery-Making
Products on display are made by deaf trainees undertaking a skills training programme aimed at equipping them with skills for future employment.

Deaf Link Uganda - Western (DLU-W) is a new Outreach Programme in Western Uganda. Through partnerships with local organisation, DLU-W provides training to deaf women in handicrafts, jewellery-making and Ugandan Sign Language.
